Otello was based off Shakespeares play, Othello. Giuseppe was born during the Napoleonic Wars. His hometown was Le Roncole, Italy on October 10, 1813. He had two loving parents named Carlo and Luiga. As a infinitesimal kid, Verdi loved music. One of his greatest joys was listening to the variety centerfield that played from a nearby church service.
