Patriotism is having pride in all America has achieved and a belief in American ideals and the attempt to live up to them. Patriotism is rooted in the ideas that gave birth to this nation, the love and run note for the trigger Fathers who put their lives, fortunes and honor on the line. around may express their love in the clothing they wear, the unison they pen or the ideals they convey. What ideals be these that so many use up to espouse and live by? To really know this show the declaration of independence. It can be said that many Americans who arrogate to be superpatriotic have never point daunted to read it, they just regurgitate the interpretations of others. It says All men be created equal. They be endowed not by the governance but by their Creator with certain unalienab le rights. Premier among those are life, liberty, and the seeking of happiness. Government must be limited with the respond of the governed. Patriotism should embrace these ideals set forth by the Founding Fathers.
